BHP Billiton Shared Services Centres perform leveraged, transactional activities at central locations, allowing our diverse businesses around the world to benefit from cost and time efficiencies. The Kuala Lumpur centre will function predominantly as a transactional back-office facility for BHP Billiton's global operations providing HR and Financial Services, running on SAP. The aim of this new centre is to be world class through offering the right people outstanding

Position Synopsis

We require a dynamic team member, with significant process knowledge, new business development, account management & client relationship experience to assist with the transition, integration and standardisation of processes within scope into the KL Financial Services team.

This primary focus of this role is to transition, integrate and standardise new business into the Payment Services team which will provide invoice processing and payment services to BHP Billiton global Assets from the Kuala Lumpur Shared Services Centre.

Achieving success will require you to apply your excellent consultative and project skills together with your detailed knowledge of Financial Services, invoice processing and supplier payment processes. Your ability to develop networks with all relevant BHP Billiton CSG Implementation Teams, 1SAP Core team and your ability to develop an extensive knowledge of Financial Services operations and issues will play a critical role in ensuring your success in this position.

Skills and Experience

Ideally degree qualified in a finance discipline, you must demonstrate a broad knowledge of Payment Services systems & supplier payment processes, have a broad understanding of BHP Billiton's Operating Model and Assets, and have a detailed knowledge and understanding of relevant Service Level Definitions.

With your proven skills in project work and ability to obtain and disseminate complex processing systems, it is preferable that your track record of success also illustrates your ability to adapt to, manage and lead change initiatives while achieving high performance to deliver results.

Approachable and attentive, you quickly build rapport and trust, confirming your ability to implement high impact change initiatives. Self-motivated, your organisationally savvy and entrepreneurial and commercial thinking skills will make you a great fit.

The position will be based in Kuala Lumpur and may require significant global travel to our assets to ensure success and achievement of the objectives.
